It’s the end of our visit. We feel rested after our holiday in the Lot. C’est la fin de notre visite. Nous nous sentons reposés après nos vacances dans le Lot.
29th September 2020: good weather
The rain continues and, like this praying mantis, we are hoping for the return of the good weather. La pluie continue et, comme cette mante religieuse, nous espérons le retour du beau temps.
26th September 2020: ancient stones
Many of our walks go past dolmens – ancient burial sites. Beaucoup de nos promenades passent devant des dolmens - anciens sites funéraires.
24th September 2020: rain has arrived
After two weeks of sunshine the rain has arrived. This bird, the dipper, is enjoying the flowing water. Après deux semaines de soleil, la pluie est arrivée. Cet oiseau, le cincle plongeur, profite de l'eau qui coule.
23rd September 2020: colourful gardens
The gardens are full of autumn produce and flowers. Les jardins regorgent de produits et de fleurs d'automne.
13th September 2020: visit to market
We come back from our first trip to the market laden with good things to eat. Nous revenons de notre premier voyage au marché chargés de bonnes choses à manger.
12th September 2020: chicken diner
We visit the local restaurants. In this one, a chicken joins the diners. Nous visitons les restaurants locaux. Dans celui-ci, un poulet rejoint les convives.
11th September 2020: new notices
The circular walk around the village has new interpretation. La promenade circulaire autour du village a une nouvelle interprétation.
7th September 2020: lovely to be back
It’s lovely to be back in the Lot after nearly a year away. C’est agréable d’être de retour dans le Lot après presque un an d’absence.
