8th May 2022: spice market

We visit the Saturday market in Figeac. This spice stall caught my eye with so much choice. Nous visitons le marché du samedi à Figeac. Ce stand d'épices a attiré mon attention avec tant de choix.




7th May 2022: woad

Woad, which is a dye plant and often considered a weed, has seeded beside this house and looks very attractive. Le pastel, qui est une plante tinctoriale et souvent considérée comme une mauvaise herbe, a semé à côté de cette maison et a l'air très attrayant.




6th May 2022: irises in full bloom

The irises are in full bloom and make a spectacular show along the old walls. Les iris sont en pleine floraison et font un vrai spectacle le long des vieux murs.



5th May 2022: evolution of the walker

This sculpture, on the route of the Compostella, shows the evolution of the walker. Cette sculpture, sur le chemin de Compostelle, montre l'évolution du promeneur.




1st May 2022: picture perfect

We have our first meal out and the starter is picture perfect. Nous avons notre premier repas et l'entrée est parfaite.



30th April 2022: a bee in the garden

The days are warming up and the insects are emerging, including this bee, a new addition to the communal garden. Les journées se réchauffent et les insectes font leur apparition, dont cette abeille, nouvelle venue dans le jardin communal.



25th April 2022: free-range chickens

We arrive to discover that we have new neighbours. They haven’t moved in yet, but their chickens have! Nous arrivons pour découvrir que nous avons de nouveaux voisins. Ils n'ont pas encore emménagé, mais leurs poules oui!
